You are spoiled for choice with our holiday home in beautiful West Pembrokeshire.

Whether you like huge sandy beaches, pretty coves, spectacular cliff walks, rolling hills, water sports, fishing villages, old castles, island trips, horse riding, family day trips – there is something for everyone!

Our nearest beach is Newgale Sands, a surfers paradise, just 3 miles away with over 3 miles of golden sand. Our other family favourites include Nolton Haven (3 miles) a pretty cove, BroadHaven (5 miles away) large beach with great rock pools, and delicious fish and chips.

If you want a mooch in a pretty village then we highly recommend Solva (7 miles) which has good restaurants and quirky shops, plus the harbour to explore and a lovely headland walk, or alternatively the small cathedral city of St. Davids (9 miles). There are castles galore to explore – we love Pembroke Castle – as well as an abundance of outdoor pursuits (surfing, kayaking, rock climbing, wind surfing etc) 

For a great and less outdoorsy family day out we suggest Folly Farm which has animals, huge playgrounds, a fairground plus more. For other tips and suggestions you will have to wait to look at our local info folder in our chalet which contains family favourites and secret finds from over 30 years of visiting this area!

In terms of practical amenities Roch village is under a mile away with a village shop and pub and the county town of Haverfordwest is 7 miles away. The Tesco and Morrison stores located in Haverfordwest will both deliver a food shop. There is a doctors surgery at Solva and Withybush hospital in Haverfordwest (which we'd hope you'd never need!).
